The Beechtree Care Center is proud to have served a vital role in
the Ithaca community for over 85 years. Throughout the homes
long and rich history, our mission to ensure that each resident
achieves and maintains the highest quality of life possible
has and continues to reflect the high values of compassion and concern
of our dedicated staff and the local community.
It is because of the generosity of caring individuals and businesses
that we are able to maintain a peaceful place that many call “home”
in the heart of downtown Ithaca.
Our donors
recognize the importance of meeting the needs of the growing elderly
population.
Beechtree Care Center is a not-for-profit community organization
that provides skilled nursing services for residents of Tompkins
County and the surrounding area. As the cost of providing health
care continues to increase our donor's generous contributions
cover the many costs which Medicaid and Medicare reimbursements do
not.
If you would
like to make a contribution to the Beechtree Care Center, please
contact our Administrator at 607-273-4166. Planned gifts and other
forms of giving are always welcome and can be discussed in detail
upon request.
Beechtree Care Center is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization under
IRS guidelines and all donations are fully tax deductible as allowable
by law.

Another great
way to contribute to Beechtree Care Center’s mission is by becoming
a volunteer. Our volunteers are people like you, members of the community
who want to make a difference in someone else’s life. For
a few hours a day, week or month, we invite you to join the growing
number of homemakers, retirees, students and professionals who spend
some of their free time with our residents and staff.
The rewards of volunteering are worth every moment! Our residents
are very special people. They have insight, humor and friendship to
share. Sometimes all it takes is a neighborly visit from someone like
you to brighten their day. To learn more, call our Director of Activities
& Volunteers at 607-273-4166 and find out how to enrich your life
and the lives of our residents.
