Making The Decision

Moving a loved one into a nursing home can be an emotionally challenging decision. Our Admissions team will work with you  and your entire family to offer guidance and counseling throughout the process. Although it may be difficult at times, it can also be an exciting time of new beginnings for you and your loved one. Our goal is to help make the transition as smooth as possible.

It's important that you and your family feel comfortable about your decision. Consider taking a tour to get familiar with our staff and residence. Contact Ellie Hall Minnis; she'll be glad to make arrangements for your visit and answer all your questions.

We encourage you to discuss your family's specific situation with Ellie.  She will answer all your questions and work with you to identify which neighborhood would best suit your loved one.

If you would like to print our application, it can be downloaded as a pdf by clicking AdmissionApplication.

After admission we strongly encourage visits from family, friends, children, grandchildren, and even pets (with proof of vaccinations.)  Seeing family and friends makes a world of difference as your loved one adjusts to life at Beechtree.
